Can anyone tell me where they bought/rented a 20ft shipping container .
uk---canada.
asking as a friend is moving over and needs it for his workshop /tools

mm thats a good idea! don't know about the containers (ever thought about contacting shipping companies to see if they are selling any off) but has he thought about some of the rig shacks that the drilling companies sell from time to time???

Similar shape and size but with lockers / storage in them already - I saw one at a farm auction a couple of months ago (probably a bit bigger than 20ft) go for $2k.

Ohhhhh just remembered, my buddy rented a 20ft container and is keeping all his tools and stuff (lots of) in it, when hubby joked to him that the amount he's paying on rent he could have bought one he replied "it's a rent to own and in a couple of months it'll be mine!" So thats another option there :thumbup:

They are regularly for sale in the classified section of chronicale herald. However typical not in todays paper.
