Yes, my daughter is on a study permit. Valid for the three year duration of hubby's TWP.
To be honest, it never occured to me about changing her status. We are in the process of applying for Permanent Residency and it hasn't been brought up by anyone yet. Pop over to the immigration forum for Canada and ask a few questions in there as there are a few experts who could help you. You do realise that as soon as you have PR then your daughter would be eligible to pay local fees so she would not have to pay for the whole study programme at international rates? |

Yes, i think i will be be on the safe side!
All our problems will be solved once we get PR but i can't see that happening any day soon. At least she will then have the option to either work and meet people that way, or start a course. |
