Its a remote life, water comes straight from the Fraser River, nearest decent shopping is 2 hours away and the wildlife is abundant. We love it!!! It sure beats the square patch of dirt we had in Sussex!!!!
Wow, what a stunning setting - you will have to let us know where etc. as that looks like a "must do" when we are exploring our new surroundings, once we get there that is.

BC Hopefuls - Wow, you were very lucky - well done you ! A kettle, hey? Too much!

Well, I guess you had plenty of time to get to know the site and the owners and the nitty gritty about the running of it and income, etc. Lovely - best of luck with it all

We found this while on holiday here. We were travelling in a rented motorhome and pulled in for the night. It had a big for sale sign up and we just did it there & then!!!!!

There are a few sites to look at
http://www.pin.ca/
http://www.businesssellcanada.com/sale/buymain.htm
http://www.forsalebyownercanada.com/

and lots of googleing!
Only been here 9 weeks and already have had four offers for it. we're not selling just yet!

Lovely!

Yeah.... stranded! I know the feeling I'm on site 24/7 until we close at the end of September. I can't wait to go to PG for some shopping. McBride is expensive so CostCo here I come. Hope to see you soon.

Good idea - Mica Mountain got quite an impressive dumping of snow yesterday. One minute the view was completely obscured by low cloud, then it cleared and the mountain was all white up top...beautiful!

Oh, thanks Steve. It is a picture-postcard location, but getting a property like this for the price we paid meant being 3.5hrs drive from the nearest city, and around 5 hrs from the nearest major airport (for visits back to the UK to see family) so it's probably not for most people. We love it though! I couldn't really imagine our youngest doing this in the back garden of our 3 bed semi in Chester:

Thanks for the links - more dreaming, I just hope we don't find the 'perfect' place too soon, that would really throw a spanner in the works

Are we allowed to show U.K. properties if no sorry if yes then here they are..

The first photo is my street, my flat is on the back of the tenement.

The second photo is my flat from Arthur's seat, it's the tenement block to the left of the orangey looking new flats, you can see a bright green fence to the right of that is our garden.

The third photo is the back of the tenement block (from the car park of the orangey new looking flats) which you can see the windows to my flat, they are the three windows diagonally below right of the black satellite dish.

Thanks for looking.

Hi, ours is at the north end of Nanaimo on Vancouver Island.
2,900ft, 5 beds, 3 bathrooms, storage room, office, laundry, open plan living/dining/kitchen, 30ft family room in the finished basement. Cost just over $300,000 year & a half ago, valued at $400,000 last christmas........just about to get it valued again don't know what we were thinking buying a house this big (can't believe a family of 4 have managed to fill it with so much crap!!) thinking of buying a smaller house with more land
