This is what we still have in UK. Has roughly doubled in price since we bought it 9 years ago but now needs some serious updating.

In Napanee. Built in 1874 with 3 Bedrooms, Fireplaces in kitchen and living room, 1 Bedroom Granny Flat, 2 driveways, 2 car garage with loft. Valued at $300,000 plus.
Hanging on to it in case SWMBO wants to start a B&B.

This is our house in Quebec, 45 mins north of Ottawa (I don't want to give the exact address because of Wannabe). 2 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 3 decks.
Bought 2.5 yrs for $215k, recently spoke to our realtor and he said it should be worth over $300k now - Wow!

Our Uk ex council 2 up 2 down. Sold it for 135,000 (and yes that was my Capri and I loved it).
Our 1st stupidly big souless home 1500sqft, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and several other unused rooms/areas! value increased bu $80,000 in the 6 months we had it - sold it in the low 300K's it would now cost you in the region fo 500k to buy a similar one in the same area of town.
Our Home 1200sqft, 4 bedrooms, 3 wonderfully
decorated bathrooms that will be redone this winter - or at least 2 will be, finished basement (although we are going to redo the basement) 2 dble garages, cost us $250,000 a year ago. There is a smaller house around the corner on a busier road that has just had total reno for $399,000.
