The best car I owned in terms of brand was a 2 door Audi A3 with turbo back in the UK.

The best car for all other things was my Pontiac Sunfire GT during my work/holiday visa. Lost way too much money on it because no one explained to me that you didn't get any tax back when you sold the car.

Have a Civic LX Coupe now. Only really use it every other weekend so very cheap to run.

Talking of Audi's this is on of my favourite adverts of all time

From the first comment there it seems true that Audi has now overtaken BMW as the wanker's ride of choice.

Audi a3's are the uk drug dealers wheels of choice, and the older sheds are definitely boy racers, something like an rs3 is really about the quickest [not fastest, but usually actually quickest thing on the road] but personally the rs6 is the toy. After all, its really a lamborghini with an estate car body. Biggest brakes ive ever seen in a car and standing still it sounds like its doing 100.

I have returned to motorcycle commuting [in the UK] after a 12 year gap. I agree with you, all the winklers who used to drive BMWs have clearly bought Audis in the intervening years.

You see, in london its not about how fast you drive any more cause nobody can, its about how offensive you can be to your fellow man, black cab drivers used to have it, but now its cyclists, a few motorcyclists and white van men its true, but mainly cyclists.

In grenada fyi its the truck, huge diesel trucks are the thing of choice, with tarmac melting arrays of lights.

Horses for courses and in this case 555 of them as you have experienced.

I love this beast...winter boots and all.

Better fuel consumption than the babied XC90 it replaced...and a ton more fun.

It seems a little odd not seeing one without Albertan plates which is the norm here.
I loved my XC90 - way better than the Disco that preceded it
Doesn't look like you can fit comfortable dogs in the back of it. The XC 90 was luxurious for the dogs but crappy leg room for rear seat passengers

This one, like the XC90 rarely has anyone in the back apart from two supposedly temporary lodger shih tzus...who seem to have been abandoned-our daughters. As far as they are concerned one back seat is like any other...but for bigger dogs the XC90 would have been a good choice I'm sure. The XC90 also had a practical net divider which the blue beast does not.

My plan was to add a Merc SL63 AMG as a summer driver....but that plan got axed (for now)...better half found the X6 a bit too much and objected to having to drive it daily. So we ended up with two SUVs for the time being, hers a more sensible X3. Ahh well, worse things happen at sea...especially on Royal Caribbean.

The RS Avants didn't come to North America did they?

I'm sure I've seen S Avants though...
