My boy when he takes his football boots off. Don't have a smelly tree either though. Just have to be old fashioned and open a window :D and tell him that the next time he takes his boots off in the car I'll break his legs so quickly he won't be playing football ever again

Will yew (DYSWIDT) be using a stout branch to accomplish the leg breaking?

Perhaps you need a tree in your car after all.

Do people still put that shit in their car? It makes it smell worse.

The Polish fella used to try and put one in mine back in the UK after he'd cleaned it, the git.

I don't have one because they don't seem to be very popular here and when I have seen them, they're too expensive for me to spend the Euros on. People here have gadget-perfume things they clip onto the radiator bars/vents. They're too expensive for me as well.

Only if they smell.

Reminds me of my mum who used to hoover up real pine needles so that the hoover would smell of pine for weeks afterwards when switched on. I empty mine every week or so. Either mum's house was always bloody clean, or us kids never got to drop a crumb outside the kitchen (true) or she had really BIG hoover bags!

Could someone please post a link to whatever TF it is you're all talking about? Just to put me out of my misery of not having any trees in my car (or as far as I know anything remotely similar).

It's a aftershavey type smell. I prefer fresh smells, not sweet sickly smells. I don't like all the plastic taken off in one go as the smell is too strong then. I have been known to unhook the smelly thing from the mirror and chuck it in the back of the car as the smell has hurt my nose.

Says someone that doesn't (one presumes) buy old cars. Some old cars STINK really bad and lots of tlc and smelly trees help disguise the smells.

You know I was just going to say that it was an aftershavey smell, and a cheap one at that - but for some reason I like it in the truck :)

(Probably because its a redneck truck and smells like a redneck bloke now lol)
