What is a normal Canadian Christmas meal?
Hi all,
What do Canadians have for their Christmas dinner?
I am going to struggle without Christmas pudding, vegetarian stuffing, vegetarian suet, mince pies, Branston pickle etc etc. I'm not a vegetarian, just don't do red meat & pork. Also, being out in the middle of frozen nowhere(SK), not an English store in forever! Trying to adapt & not pine too much for British things.
Will try to be more organised next year & import ahead of time!

What is your definition of "Canadian Christmas" considering Canada is made up of people of different cultures and ethnic backgrounds...you mean a native/aboriginal meal?

Re: What is a normal Canadian Christmas meal?
Our Canadian friends christmas dinners are very similar to ours minus the lack of roast potatoes, although I have converted a few people. The rest is very similar for the main course.
If you fancy the 2hour?? i think drive from your house to Saskatoon Brit foods would have everything your missing.

The question mark begged an answer. You got an answer. Isn't it obvious that the '?' was seen, or do you just like to be obtuse and argumentative? (that's a question, mate).
