That's just so easy for me......Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi (with lots of sliced green chillies), Pilau Rice and peshwari naan from The Ganjees in Gee Cross.....sorry,I'm advertising there :o but it is/was heavenly  Would be the only reason I'd be desperate to jump on the next Thomas Cook back to M'cr :D

Hey Butch,

Seems to me I've seen Mushy Peas in the British Shop in Market Mall.

By the way did you ever get a chance to try Mudders Fish 'n Chips over by the airport?

Don't really know. I only know it's expensive because you lot keep complaining about the price. If that's all you've known then it doesn't appear too high priced. :)

I never developed a taste for beer. I left Liverpool at 16, to young to drink decent beer and the legal drinking age here in Alberta in 1963 was 21. So I developed a taste for something much worse Coca Cola, preferably with lime juice in it.

I only drink red wine now because they tell me its good for my heart. ;)

We have a friend who is more than happy to make a batch up for us when we ask, all we have to do is provide the bottles, the money for the kit and pick it up when its ready.:D:D

Over the last year I have developed an oatcake addiction. So it would be oatcakes.

OK, confession! I actually bought some from the 'Taste of Britain' shop in Eau Claire market the other day! For 6 bucks! :o
