What is a Caucas ???

Hey

Not sure I spelt it correctly, however, I am watching the news and they are all talking about this vote thing in Iowa?

Why is it called something different, and what does it mean?

Or am I the only one that is 'ignorant' to the US political voting system.

cheers

Registered supporters of each party get together in meetings and debate/decide who their preferred candidate is.

The winner for each party of the series of meetings in each state gets to run for Presidunk!
