Sorry- went over my head
Absolutely agree, we stock up with soluble cocodamol when we visit Blighty- why the hell don't they do soluble meds in Canada, it doesn't make sense

Tylenol 3 is the way to go.
<although you might need surgery first to get the prescription>

Glad to see someone else gets banana Nesquik! That's always on our list, although I haven't been able to find the largest containers the last couple of times 😕
Just been back to England for my eldest daughter's Graduation.
Any lingering thoughts of ever moving back have gone!
Did a drive-by of my old house. What a dump! The new iwners clearly aren't house proud. Hope they find all of the faults that I carefully hid before we sold it to them
Spent 6 hours driving from Godstone to Knutsford. Had plenty of time to enjoy the scenery on the M40. But the traffic is even worse than I remember.
Got funny looks in Tesco for buying multiple packs of Germolene, hay fever tablets (one that isn't available over here - Acrivastine), Nesquik banana, some Migaine tablets that you can't get here, Milky Bar and various random other things in multiples....
Cleared the local sweet shop of Coltsfoot Rock. 3lbs should last a while....

Try living in France. They are keen on soluble meds, although they are not designed to dissolve quite where you would probably wish them to.
<That's a hint>

Yes, I have always thought that the routine administration of meds in France was odd

Come to think of it, my first prescription had something to do with bollocks.

Apparently they wanted it to come out of tubes
Yep, I use Polysporin, but it doesn't have quite that "soothing" quality that Savlon has.

Savlon/Germolene for cuts and scratches, TCP for throat and Bonjela for the mouth.
Oh...and the blue bag for bee stings.
Bonjela is available on Amazon Canada. I really don't remember Rinstead but might that come into contact with what's sore?
Nor the smell

For any kind of sore in the mouth it was the go-to treatment since as long as I can remember. Worked a treat and tasted okay.
