Well here I am 15 years later

Hi guys

Long long time since I have been on the forum. I have been browsing the last few days and its good to see some of the old familiar names that are still here. Where are our family 15 years on.
We are still in London, Ontario, still in the same house we bought 14 years ago, done loads of renos all the usual stuff. The Mrs is still working in the bank, shes now a branch manager and has been for quite a number of years now
Me and work, welll I worked for a company for nearly 13 years and we parted ways in 2019, I had enough of the just get it done attitude, had numerous very near misses that could have really done me some damage, so I left.
Where is work just now, I've been floating around a few places, kinda got my eyes opened up to the lack of leadership, lack of understanding of how to do a job correctly, the lack of, they don't practice what they preach kinda attitude.
My 2 daughters have moved out and they are doing great, my oldest is a Gio Scientist and my middle daughter is doing her PHD in Psychology.
Me and the Mrs are now very proud grandparents, baby Isla was born in Jan 2021 and she is a bonnie wee lassie.

Just thought I would poke my head in as its been a very long time since I was last here.

Hope everyone keeps safe and stays healthy

Always nice to hear a success story, sounds like things are going well for you, though I hope you're able to find a new stable job at a company that is ran well. What industry are you in?

What is her career track in psychology? Is she going to be a practitioner, researcher or a consultant?
Fifteen years in Ontario? Do you think living there for that amount of time has altered your cultural genetic makeup?
