Eh?

It lasts for ages and plays a lot of silly music and shows a lot of twats pretending to be something difficult to articulate, but utterly unpleasant, then it says t-comm or something. WTF is that? Actually I don't want to know.

I arrived at Heathrow about 6 weeks ago, making the mistake of traveling on my Canadian passport.

I had to stand in line to get through immigration for about an hour.

F**k Heathrow.

Yet again, Novocastrian is the living embodiment of the word 'Curmudgeon'. ;)

Do the Iris! Saves a lot of time even if you travel on a UK passport.

Shame it doesn't reflect on the typical landing process at Heathrow. We recently returned from our Canadian recce, landed at 7.15am on a Friday morning and it was mayhem. Couldn't get into the passport control hall due to overcrowding - everyone was pushing/shoving and it was basically everyman for himself. No sense of any orderly queue - chaos ruled. Took us well over an hour to reach the desk, to be greeted by a miserable (non-english) immigration officer who demanded we take out passports out of their holders before sending us on our way. Seriously it was like landing in a third-world country. Can't wait to buy our one-way tickets out of here.

Would have been a great ad for BA, but it was a bit of a damp squib (tissues please) for t-mobile. I guess BA weren't buying.

Spotted Tom Richards in there too as one of the arriving passengers, wasn't expecting that!

I am landing at Heathrow tomorrow morning and you would have to scrape me up from the floor if that was my welcome home .

I have hinted to my friends that I shall expect nothing less that afternoon at Aberdeen Airport lol
