Pet stores rarely sell Tupperware. Better luck next time.

Just a piece of advice. Don't watch Silent Witness while eating a dismembered fast food chicken.

...And? Come on, we're on the edge of our seats here. What happened next?

(I haven't got much on this evening, so this is riveting stuff.)

We got a similar one but it was a viscous bastard so we had to Fess up when son got home !

We also lost a guinea pig due to a flattening incident, another GP because the dog thought it looked tasty and a rabbit lost it's head to the local fox.

I think only 1 of our menagerie of small mammals died of old age/ natural causes!

Rodents are tricky; there's always something that wants to eat them, and those that escape that, usually seem intent on offing themselves in some gruesome way or another.

My Mum did something similar with my hammy, only she got one with black ears and short hair, thinking it was the same as the original. I thought my hammy was dying because it's ears had gone black all of a sudden. It was also a viscious bugger, who we eventually tamed, but she then a few years later suffered a flattening accident

My hamster went exploring in the basement one night and drowned in the sump hole. The little beggars have no fear. A friend worked for a vet in a Sk town and a little girl came in with her mother, carrying a dead budgie lying on the floor of a birdcage. The vet gave his asst. $15 and sent her to Woolworths to buy a matching bird, and when he emerged from the treatment room with a miraculously revived 'Cheep' the bill was $15, gratefully paid by the girl's mother.
Weekend forecast is work through Saturday and early Sunday, with periods of shovelling snow around mid-day, then changing to beer and chicken wings as a Superbowl front moves in later.
