Watch are you watching on BBCiPlayer?
 

There are a couple of threads where people are saying they are watching UK TV using BBCiPlayer.

I have it all set up and working but I don't know which are the best shows to watch. If I go to "Most Popular" I see shows like Doctor Who, Eastenders, Top Gear and Casualty. Is this what you are all watching?

Any recommendations for really good shows to watch? Any good quiz shows?

Match of the day...trouble with BBC iplayer it only stores shows for 7 days unlike itv player 4od etc

You can download many/most shows to the BBC iPlayer Desktop where they're retained for, I believe, 30 days.

The Apprentice! Have to have my fix of little cockney Lord Alan. Also thinking about giving Case Histories a go. Sounds like it might be a replacement for Waking the Dead which I loved and now is no longer.

I've just watched 'All Watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace', it's not a game show but it's pretty damn fine.

There's a very good serialized drama on at the moment called The Shadow Line.

On Radio, best thing is the Friday night news quiz with Sandi Toksvig.
On telly, currently gripped to the Apprentice again - even though they're all a bunch of arseholes (again).

Now let me see. Click refresh button on BBC site. Click on programme. Click on download button. Click one more to select destination. That's 4 clicks.

exactly difficult enough to get out of the chair to do one click let alone four...i need one of those long sticks with a rubber tip on the end.:thumbup:

Got iplayer working yesterday after much faffing about. Watched first episode of The Apprentice last night.......as good as ever. Only missing Modern Family here now it's finished for summer, will have to play catch up on that too on itunes.

I watch both BBC and ITV iPlayers and 4oD. People on this site complain vociferously about North American TV programmes and I agree to much of it, but other than certain BBC programmes, there is just as much, if not more crapola on UK TV, IMO.

What are you using?.........

Expatshield could not be simpler....connect/On....disconnect/Off...no faffing there....
