Some actual figures for the debate.
Although I know in the UK there are a good half a dozen indexes who all measure prices in difference ways and the variants can be in the tens of thousands. Love the comments on that article. That last couple with 2 kids earning 200K and claim they have nothing left at the end of the month after spending 840 a month eating out, 1,000 a month on clothes, 400 a month on vitamins creams and lotions, oh yeah and 1,200 on the mortgage for their summerhouse. Somebody should start a charity for them maybe we can do a live aid concert and stuff. FFS!
