i run BBC and ITV on my iPad which I project onto TV with Apple TV. I do the same for channels 4&5 on my PC as they both need Adobe Flash, which is not available/allowed on Apple products. I use Express VPN, which I find excellent.

Strange, All 4 App works fine on my iPad. I assume you meant from the website

Why would you need to use IPad and Apple TV together rather than just Apple TV on its own? Apple TV doesn't have the C4 App but has Apps for BBC and ITV?

Probably because he's using a VPN rather than a DNS hider.

I don't believe you can use a VPN or set one up on the ATV.

That's why I use a DNS hider on all devices - BBC and ITV have apps on the ATV and I airplay All4 from an iPad to one of the 4 ATVs in the house. If it's one of the older ATVs without app functions then I airplay, otherwise I use the ATV4.

However it seems less problematic using airplay quite often.

I use a different BBC iplayer VPN provider and whenever I try to play any geoblocked video on the iPlayer site, nothing plays, no video player frame shows up and I only see the loading animation. Not sure if this is a Flash player issue, does iPlayer even use Flash?

The free Beebs add-on (from Chrome but works on Opera too) is still working great.

Anyone use this service

https://vaderstream.shop/

Vader Stream Channel List | Vader Streams | Vader Stream TV

A friend of mine uses it, cut the cord cable TV wise and watches lots of sports and live BBC ITV etc. It also seems to have the Canadian/US channels. I wish this was available via the Roku Stick but it is on Apple TV, Amazon Fire Stick, PS4 etc.

That was one of those I looked at. At the time I looked, they weren't taking any new subscribers but they had a sort of sister service that was much the same name.
I can't be sure but I think I tried to get a trial and just didn't get anywhere. There's something different about the site/name and it makes me wonder if they keep getting caught and keep changing names to stay one step ahead.

Where do I find BBC App. I don't see BBC or ITV on my Apple TV, and my ipad will not allow the purchase of the BBC iPlayer App in the USA.

Just open an account in the UK App Store.

Just key in BBC iPlayer or ITV Player on your browser line and they will appear, allowing you to open them. To play anything you will need a VPN, which, of course, costs money. Works just fine that way for me. If you have a UK Credit card you could probably download the Apps from the UK App Store. I think if you provide a UK CC it confirms to them(in their minds) that you are a UK Resident and entitled to use the service.
Much Good Luck.

There are free VPN's and also IP disguisers
