VPN - BBC
Anyone recommend a VPN - I have been using Unotelly, but haven't had access to the BBC in months

Re: VPN - BBC
The Hoxx add-on for Firefox still works but sometimes needs several attempts to "get through" (like having your doctor on redial) for BBC.
Beebs works via Chrome and Opera browsers.

I use Express VPN and find it excellent. Not cheap but I find anything good is seldom cheap.

I got used to MediaHint when it was free and now I'm used to Hoxx and/or Beebs while they're free. It's hard to break a habit of free.

I'm in the US. I use Hoxx vpn the most and when it doesn't work use hola.org. Both of them are free.

TVMucho is euro 7.99 a month and you get dozens of channels including all the UK ones. 7 day catch up is free with the monthly sub. Much better than Filmon and you can cast it to TV via PC or phone. All UK channels are HD too. No messsing with any VPN or other "hide me" stuff, just log in and fill your boots

Re: VPN - BBC
That looks pretty good.
It would be a good way to ditch the TV package in Canada. Except for one rather major thing; there's no Sky/BT for the football and rugby. For me, that makes the cable package essential (even though I watch none of it except the football and rugby) so it's a bit of a non starter.
I don't know about other VPNs but there's no "messing" with Hoxx or Beebs once added. Just activate with a click or two.

I use britishtvclub for UK tv. Costs from £13 a year (low quality) to £45 year for HD quality. You can pay monthly / quarterly or annually, with annually working out the cheapest. Works for me anyway.

Re: VPN - BBC
Why?
Other than sometimes needing a few attempts on BBC it works great. There's no problem with it at all.
I've seen in the past that some have mentioned data issues....as if that doesn't already happen with 90% of the internet already.
The same has been said about Hola I think, too, yet many have happily used it for years.

Re: VPN - BBC
I use NordVPN and I recommend it. Got a 3 year subscription when it was on sale a few months back. Multiple servers around the world to choose from and simple to use.
Works well with tvcatchup.com on any of my mobile devices. The biggest non-VPN issue issue you will have is if you Chromecast the content since it uses your local wifi network.

Totally agree - I signed up for 12 months (with an additional month free) for $99CAD. ExpressVPN works better than ones I use din the past and connects first time. Really recommend it.
