Toothpaste
Hi I want to buy an SLS (sodium Lauryl (sp?) Sulphate) free but not fluoride free toothpaste.
Most of the "healthy" toothpastes you can buy here have neither. I have searched and searched. I have a Green Beaver brand one which has neither (and tastes nice!!). Stopping using SLS has been a revelation. I have stopped getting mouth sores. But I don't want to get more cavities (no fluoride in the water here either).
Jason (the brand) has a couple but although I can find that brand in many stores here, only the types that are both SLS + Fluoride free. I tracked the ones I'm looking for to a couple of places in the US but obviously it makes it expensive with mail order.
Hopefully I'm not the only person on BE/Canada with an SLS issue and that someone has a suggestion!
PS: hope it's okay to mention the brands! It's only so I can explain!

Re: Toothpaste
CORSODYL toothpaste uses sodium bicarbonate, fluoride and i think chlorhexidine. Don't think it is available in BC as chlorhexidine is only available on prescription but its available on ebay/amazon from UK where it is available OTC. the corsodyl mouthwash is also very good for gum problems.

Corsodyne is great but it's prescription only in Ontario too.

I use Pronamel as well, it's the only toothpaste that seems to work to keep my teeth from being so sensitive. Seems to be a good product.
