Yeah, f*** it, no point in trying to enjoy all the time, work and effort that's being put into it. It'd be neat if they could build everything in just a couple of days, eh?

Why not be proud of the fact Vancouver's been chosen? Sure, it's a PITA for a short time from a logistical perspective, but are you saying the legacy, promotion of the city and the prestige just isn't worth it?

Hey, Kamloops. There you are again.

...The daughter of a work colleague of Mrs.Bsmith is in the Canadian Olympic team and was one of the official torch carriers.

Her mum brought her daughters olympic torch (they each get to keep one - who knew?) and kit in to the office for everyone to have their photos taken with - this is Mrs Bsmith the Olympian.

Apparently, someone donated those Olympic mittens to all the primary school children in Vancouver. That's got to be around 15,000 pairs of mittens.

I think they have to pay for it if they want to keep it, some chap who did a part of the Red Deer effort was being interviewed on the radio and he said that he paid around $250 for his although you can buy the replicas which are about $100 more.

A bottle of propane and a flame thrower may work out at around $160, so cheaper, and has more clout when lighting your fire pit.

Just a thought
