Vancouver drinks: 9 February

Hi we've arranged a meet up at the New Oxford in Yaletown on 9 Feb, 5.30 onwards.

So far, Becki, EA & myself (and hopefully Tootlepootle) plus partners will be there:

Downtown Vancouver Bar in Yaletown | The New Oxford Public House

It would be great to get an idea of numbers so do post if you can make it!

See you there!

Will try to make it in from the outer suburbs!

Might even try that new-fangled extra bit of Skytrain wotsit that nearly gets almost to a town near a town where I live!

I think that someone needs to twist a certain Vancouverites trotter, he would no doubt liven up the evening.

He knows he wants to......;)

Stinky, I think you should fly down in the pup helicopter. I am sure you have one. Couldn't you arrange to see your son in Vic the weekend after or something?

I would love that- I looked at the menu, the beers- we have have the odd pub here - we had our Christmas "do" at this one- it is building a good reputation although they probably dont do tea:lol:

Marten Brewpub- Vernon BC Community Brewpub Bar & Grill

Re the Pupcopter, sadly not- this is the nearest thing I got to one :(

Well done for organising the meetup though Snowy, long overdue, they do amazingly out East with theirs so hopefully more will come to Vancouver-if we were in the area when the weather is warmer and the highway is safer we would certainly come along

Chilliwack meet up?

Little too far for me but I'd happily drive to Surrey

Does somewhere near Commercial drive make it easier for more people?

St Augustine's is right by the sky train station and one of my go to places (a two page 11x17 beer menu is never a bad thing). They do tea :)

I think we should leave it as it is for this first one.
But I will do whatever so long as it's not too far.
