He's 3 year older than Trump isn't he and a damn sight fitter. So it's rather a specious argument isn't it?

The age thing is important just because there's a realistic chance that Biden will die in office so a vote for him is OPENING THE DOOR TO A BLACK WOMAN. It's not a concern for Donnie because he's the fittest President there's ever been. Doctors come to Donnie, with tears in their eyes, and say "Sir, how do you do it Sir?". They're amazed.

They are both too bloody old to be running for President, but I think Trump will win by a small margin.

The USA needs fresh young blood for 2024.

I'd be happy with Ivanka as Pres, and Don Jr as the VP.

Both Fridays.

On Trump's day - John Logie Baird died and there was a total lunar eclipse
On Biden's day - Norman Greenbaum was born

Trump cast a big shadow even then.

Nice poll.

I voted Unclear Biden, but I do wonder if the USA is heading for civil war (one way or another). The society seems incredibly fractured, and social media seems to amplify tensions and biases. C4 yesterday covered militias being formed. It doesn't look good, although I suppose the winter could cool things down a bit.

Now one can hope because Greenbaum was born that Biden doesn't go off to meet the Sprit In The Sky.

Trump loses, has a hissy fit and doesn't want to play anymore. Leaves the White House as soon as the results are in never to be seen again..

we can but hope

Heard a theory that Trump actually doesn't want a second term, as in fact he didn't really expect to win the first. An engineered hissy fit (and perhaps an exclusion from further investigation into any wrongdoing) might be a convenient way to save face, and get back into his natural gilded Trump habitat.

If it becomes clear that Trump isn't going to win, I wouldn't be surprised if he would resign just before the election, let Pence become President, and then have Pence issue a comprehensive pardon on Trump for all the lawsuits that would otherwise be awaiting him.

I think that the first debate might go a bit differently after the news about dodgy Donald's tax returns.

Allegedly "dodgy" tax returns are very old news. The Dems tried that in 2016 and it had no discernible impact, so I think it tells us how desperate they are, and lacking any attractive policy platform, that they would try again in 2020 with an idea that failed miserably last time.

Tax avoidance is not illegal.
I suspect we will not see any of his tax returns until he leaves office in 2024. Only then we will discover if he is guilty of tax evasion.
