Balanciaga and Yves St. Lauren have now turned their workshops to making face masks instead of luxury clothing and are donating them to the French health service, I just saw on the Beeb. Rather nice.

Re: Upsides of Coronavirus - positive vibes only :)
We were meant to move to Canada in April, so that is obviously postponed. Wife and I living with her parents as we sold our house in Jan.
Both of us were really down last week, facing the prospect of being unemployed for much longer than we anticipated and feeling like we had little hope or purpose. That’s on top of having the move that we’d worked so hard for thrown into doubt, and having to dip into savings that were meant to support us in Canada. Then it all turned around in the space of a couple of days. Wife got some freelance graphic design work that she can continue from Canada when we eventually there. Last Friday in desperation I applied to all the local supermarkets and on Saturday got a call inviting me for an interview. An hour and a half later I arrived for the interview for a shelf stacker and walked out as a temporary manager. So now we both have an income for the next few months, and in my wife’s case longer. |

Whenever I negotiate new prices Rogers are always amazed we don't use more mobile data. My wife and I share 2.5 gb/month and most months it is about 1.5 gb used, most of which is Waze on my phone while mounted in the car. Rogers can throw data at me and I'll hardly use it..I'd prefer a lower monthly fee. |
