Re: Upsides of Coronavirus - positive vibes only :)
I used to work with a man who made cottage cheese from it! Curds and Whey - just like miss muffet! A little sprinkle of salt and pepper was all he added... he would let it sour for a day or 3 (sometimes adding a little lemon juice to help it along) then strain it through cheesecloth ready to be chilled in the fridge and eaten the next day.
One good thing about Covid? I don't have to make mashed turnip for 10 people (in fact I don't have to make it at all)

I don't like to go out with an unshaven appearance. So on those occasions when I need to go out I shave the day before in readiness. Otherwise I generally don't bother shaving and will just give myself a buzz once in a while so as not to look too unkempt at home.
But wearing a mask out means it doesn't matter so much.
I mentioned this to my stepdaughter who said that some of the women she works with have said they wear less make up under the mask.

Big upside, Free access to OHIP healthcare for (non resident) Canadians (who might be visiting from say South Carolina) with no charges and no wait period.
Its freeloading at its finest. Except they couldnt actually determine the cause of the sinus pain, but they at least tried...

I've got to do a Speed Awareness Course on Saturday afternoon. This time, however, because of COVID, it's online only, so I shall do it from the comfort of my home office. Much more preferable to dragging myself off to a dingy classroom full of hooligans with no respect for the rules of the road.

Currently waiting for a new rockwell double edge razor to come in, i've battled with irritating skin every time I shave no matter whether electric, disposable, or "old school" razors. We'll see how this one does.

Good news as far as I am concerned.
Yorkshire Ripper serial killer Peter Sutcliffe dies.
Peter Sutcliffe, who murdered at least 13 women, is understood to have refused treatment after contracting coronavirus in prison.

I'll give him credit for at least not wasting anyone's time with Coronavirus treatment. Far better to have given him a lethal injection 40 years ago and have saved the hundreds of thousands of pounds keeping him incarcerated.

Was he the worst in the UK? Wasn't that guy in BC on about the same scale?

I think 40 years of watching over your back and then finally dying a slow death is the best possible outcome. I don't mind paying a few extra quid in taxes for that.
