Thanks I pick 2 a day on average, I gave 4 to my neighbour and she made me a loaf of zuchini bread - which was surprisingly delicious! First time I have had the opportunity to chat with her (her fence is high, to keep in her grandchildren) which wouldn't have happened if not for Covid as she was rarely outside during the day (working).

That too. Corgette 'bread' is like carrot cake...just green bits instead of orange.

Hamilton on Disney plus. Might never have seen it. Now ‘you’ll be back’ cheers me up without fail.

As a family we went to a drive-in concert on Sunday night. It was all rather fun in a family friendly, non-alcoholic sort of way. In a testament to changing retail habits in Canada it was held in the parking lot of what was once Zellers, then became Target and has been empty ever since Target folded.

That's a variation on this.

Restricted numbers … social distancing measures for a Sam Fender concert in Newcastle earlier this month.

The Spanish flu lasted for 2 years so I'm confident that wearing masks and social distancing will go here by 2022. Then we can go back to normal life, I don't think I will be shaking hands again though, pretty weird thing to do when you think about it.

WFH will be up for discussion though, at least for anyone whose job it is to sit in front of a computer. I'm sure there will be some pros and cons of life after the 2020 pandemic. What a time to be alive!

I'm positive Chris Mann is talented - and he's made some brilliant Covid parodies

I'm almost ashamed to admit how much the current restrictions on socialising suit me.
I don't find myself in huge crowds that overwhelm me. I have legitimate reasons for scaling back my social activities in general. I keep in touch with all my friends by text or whatsapp ( including those abroad) which is very "non threatening" to me, Zoom meetings at work are good for me because i can "disengage" by turing my video off but still keep track on what is going on. Everyone seems much more conscious of having to maintain their mental health that i don't feel self conscious for having to be careful to maintain my own.

My son told me virtually this the other day...he can’t find much that depresses him, and it does seem to have taken a lot of pressure off. I grew up in a non 24/7 instant lifestyle so although I ‘listen’, I can’t begin to understand the real, and evident, pressures this involves. This might be a way we can all punch our ‘Pause’ button.

I too have been reading a lot about the Spanish flu and it’s lasting consequences. There were few, many died, many wore masks, but the world regenerated and some of us didn’t do so well...and then we just carried on! I came here from Sarthe, France, where we always kiss three times (the Parisienne's say it’s because we have nothing better to do with time!)...now people aren’t... but they will, and we will return to a modified normal. Life finds a way and we are a generally pleasant lot

If this is how concerts always were, I may have gone to more than 1 in my life. I hate the crowds so I avoided concerts, and most are way too loud.....But this set up looks good, nice little private area with space, I would call this a positive, but I guess for the performer its not since it means less tickets.
