I don't think that exists in Ontario. If it does I apologise for my ignorance. Or not.

There's one down past Hamilton. Mostly shops in that chain are called Loblaws.

Your apologies (or lack thereof) are accepted (or noted).

I trudge gloomily around the one in Aurora weekly.

Ah, I think Aurora is quite close to Ontario, thus I must plead the privilege (?) of having shopped in a Sobeys all those years.

Those of us in Hicksville can't hope to emulate the ways of the metropolitan elite. I bow to your superior supermarket.

There's one a little less than a mile from my house in the lofty heights of Oakville. So there.

Good god you're right. It turns out that Aurora is only 15 km from where I lived for 22 years! You'd think I would have noticed it wouldn't you?

FFS.

Now that I'm reminded that Aurora is actually within Ontario, I recall that I used to drive my then 15 year old younger son to his basketball games there. I'd drop him off for the game and then visit the rub'n'tug on Yonge Street.

I've been informed that the Real Canadian Superstore is really Loblaws. Big deal. I'd still never heard of it. And if I had done I would have been repelled by its name.
