UK TV

Just tried to log into TVcatchup.com, only to find that it has been shut down. Not that British TV makes life complete out here or anything, just a bit of a luxury to tune in and catchup from time to time...have to say I'm a bit gutted but hardly surprised. Oh well, I'm sure another website will come along in due course!!! Until then...:(

Isn't there plenty of Brit stuff already available on TV? CBC, Showcase channels and others have plenty. Not totally up to date, maybe, but if you've been here a couple of years it probably seems new.

Hardly surprising these sites are being closed down, it's inevitable given how they're illegal and all that.

Hi! Dependant on what it is you want to watch you should be able to watch BBC programmes on the internet soon. They've been advertising BBC i-player here to watch progs you have missed and Ive just looked at it and although you can't use it outside the UK they say they are working on making it international. :D

"Rights agreements mean that BBC iPlayer television programmes are only available to users to download or stream (Click to Play) in the UK. However, BBC Worldwide is working on an international version, which we will make available as soon as possible."
