It is probably the best UK entry I have heard for a while, and that is not really saying very much. That said, it could stand a good chance of winning. :)

Another closet Eurovision fan (I used to like watching it with the subtitles on as it gave you the literal UK translation of all those songs that were sung in foreign) |

Trouble is it was so adictive even if it was to watch Terry Wogan taking the p$ss out of the marking process  |

Wogan's comments on the voting are almost funnier than his commentary on the little video pieces between the songs - like the fact that the Greeks and Cypriots always give each other douze points; the Turkish community in Germany almost always skews German voting in favour of the turkish entry; Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia seem to share each others' favours; etc, etc ad nauseam. It was always compulsory viewing in our household, but only when lubricated by sufficient beer to dull the pain of the off-key singing. In my defence, though, I can't be a real addict because I haven't felt the lack since being here. |
Re: UK Eurovision entrant......
I'm with you, I love Terry's comments on the Eurovision and I was just saying to my husband the other day that I would really miss it.
How sad is that  |
