That's because we forget which car has auto lights and which doesn't.

Heck, took us about a year to figure out that my girlfriend's old Buick had auto lights.

I have only been here (BC) a few weeks and I cannot get my head around the driving.... why on earth do the drivers here speed up as soon as I indicate to switch into their lane just to ensure I do not get into the space?!

I feel the drivers here need those bowling gutter lane blockers put up on roads here, which they use for kids when they bowl so the ball bounces from side to side towards the pins, to keep drivers in lane and to stop them from drifting from side to side!

I just switched my UK license to a BC one and got asked a question.... "so what do you do when the traffic light turns green?".... which threw me waaaayyyyy off as I thought this MUST be a trick question as no way could that question form part of the theory here..... and with that question a lot of things here made sense in relation to the driving here! :p
