Didn't follow the first series, but I'm all for some coffee and cherry pie.

There was a huge swathe of announcements about this back in October. Yes, damn fine news.
Reminds me, I need new shoes. |

Or not.....

Re: Twin Peaks to return
Yeah. David's pulled out of the Showtime thing, budgetary concerns apparently (not enough money given to do it how he wants it). Seems to be conflicting stories as to wether it will go ahead without him. I can't see the cast wanting to do it without him, as DL *IS* Twin Peaks.
Personally think that either Showtime will give more cash to get DL back, or the production will move elsewhere, and Netflix would be a very good place for it to go. |

It seems the writing has already been done so it's just directing and of the original 30 episodes he only did 6. According to IMDB there were 13 other episode directors including someone who directed a dozen House of Cards episodes. 6 of them did 2, 3 and 4 episodes each so I don't think his direction is essential. |

I hope it does goes ahead and preferably on Netflix.

I'm less convinced about that than others.
