If he gets a second term he'll find a way to have it changed and extend his run further.

Luckily that would be really difficult.

2/3 of congress in both houses would need to propose amending the constitution or 2/3 of the states would need to call for a constitutional convention.

To pass an amendment 38 of 50 states would need to vote yes.

The president has no role in the process to amend the constituion and cannot veto an amendment.

As for the Brett K vote, maybe a couple republicans will have a change of heart, never really know. Just cant be 50/50 as we know how Pence would vote to break the tie.

As for the Bret K vote, So called sway Republicans will vote with the pack. Flake, Markowski, Collins can talk the talk, but when it comes down to it, they, as usual, fail to walk the walk. No more than expected.....What a pantomime......The term, straight from '''Game of Thrones, ' a "Mummers farce" springs to mind.

I'm not sure if the same rules applied when the restriction was first brought in but given the fact that Trump got in despite his behaviour and that he seems untouchable since (pushing Prime ministers out of the way etc) and now this Kavanaugh business and Trump's behaviour during it, mocking the accuser days after saying she was credible and still being popular...I wouldn't put anything past him.

He'll likely find a way. He'll probably say it's not actually true and it's what they want you to believe and it's more shenanigans from the Democrats out to get him.

Appeals to the Constitution, are only as strong as the integrity of the supreme Court. Get five of them in your pocket is all that is needed.

What pressure can be exerted upon those that have a job for life and cannot be fired?

Only impeachment, but that requires representatives who give a damn. You may have misunderstood my point. Trump has now selected two of them, with a third very likely soon (Ginsburg). Another in the eighties and yet another in their seventies.

Some people here do not understand the US system.

Hysteria, and wild misinformation will not beat Trump in 2020, nor assist in beating him.

Michael Cohen, a former Trump confidant, told Vanity Fair that the president had once told him that “black people are too stupid to vote” for him and had challenged Cohen to name “one country run by a black person that’s not a shithole”.
