"The company that built and owns the Trump International Hotel and Tower Vancouver was silent a day after reports that the FBI is investigating Ivanka Trump’s business dealings and the financing of the Vancouver property.

Joo Kim Tiah, CEO of Vancouver-based Holborn Group, did not return calls to his cellphone. Instead, he indicated the company would issue a public statement, which he said Friday morning would be available soon. But later in the day, Holborn Group said it was still finalizing and reviewing an official statement."

What is going on? Not with Trump but with us.

Trumps's economic guru joins a long list and resigns just when Trump starts a trade war and his ex porn star mistress sues him after being paid by his lawyer to keep quiet, apparently out of his own pocket if you believe that.

And not a word on this site, have we all become numbed to Trump's antics?

You couldn't make it up but it's happening, I'm waiting for the film, no doubt there'll be a Deep Throat connection somewhere, there was with Clinton.

From a previous post: I submitted this outline to my publishers some years ago and they said the idea had promise but the subsequent parts where the country's leader continually makes an ass of himself on the world stage, chopping and changing his 'team' as he falls out with each of them, being rude to other leaders, was just too unrealistic even for a pantomime.
Interesting that the apologists, those saying it's a reaction and/or his supporters still like him are very quiet too.

Trump has agreed to meet Kim Jong Un. Meeting is apparently scheduled for May.

If it happens apparently will be the first time a US President has met with a North Korean leader.

Don't knock it. I'm no fan of Trumps and think he's a crook, liar and all round bad guy, but the fiasco that's been a Korean ceasefire for decades could just be in for a dose of common sense in place of political dogma, we'll just have to wait and see. We've all seen what US sponsored regime change does to a region and the DPRK are right to be concerned, so why not simply agree to end the Korean war and withdraw the US threat to the DPRK whilst retaining the US umbrella for the south. The choice will then be for the DPRK, nuclear freeze or guaranteed security. I doubt that denuclearisation will be possible since the DPRK will always be wary of ever changing US political pressures. I doubt that China would welcome the role as DPRK guarantor since this could result in direct US-China confrontation, but all will become ever more murky soon enough.

But.... if he manages to pull it off he'll be painting a target on himself for every right wing maniac in the US to shoot at, a fanatical base is just that, a bunch of fanatics.

Yes, it's pretty amazing news. I heard that Kim saw opportunity in dealing with a straight shooter like Trump. It might be a genuine opportunity for peace on the Korean peninsula. For all Trump's faults, he might actually achieve something worthwhile.
