Timmies is watching you....

...if you use their app.

Rather disconcerting stuff. Iā€™m not a user of their app nor a frequent customer.

Dreadful company. They must account for more pollution than the Exxon Valdez. It's not obvious what their "app" would do but I'd expect it to leave a horrible mess on my phone.

I wanted to download a radio player app the other day and it said that it needed access to the files, messeges and calls etc on my phone. I didn't download it. Why in the world would anyone need an app for crap coffee? šŸ™„

Perhaps it's so people can report examples of Tim Hortons cups and trays and wrappers littered around the countryside so the company can send someone to pick them up.

Isn't this what a lot of companies do? I try to limit my app use and downloads, I don't like them in general as they clutter my phone and pain in the rear end in my view..

If I recall Air Canada app was doing the same, or maybe their app was being hacked for personal information, too many issues with various apps and some are just too nosy.
