Awesome! Loved that track, back in the day. Did you know Heather Small (M People) did the vocals...I didn't find that out until recently, but once you know, her voice is so distinct.

I qualify for the senior's discount in most of North America.
Not there yet although Lawtons pharmacy does theirs at 55 which is dead handy for diabetic strips and needles.

Not for a minute...we lived in abject poverty there. That's why I left to join the RAF and never returned.

I never knew Heather Small did vocals on that track! But now I know it seems obvious.... that song reminds me of the start of my clubbing days. Ah good times!

I just checked out what was UK No1 when I turned 16.....Lady in Red by Chris DeBurgh... lol!! That makes me feel absolutely ancient!!

I had no idea but I can definitely tell now you told me.

I used to like M People, my favourite TV ad at that time was for the Peugeot 406 as it had their 'search for the hero' song playing.

I remember that well.

Its funny after you have been in Canada for a while, you forget about the bands and songs that were once such regular listening.... and its such a blast from the past when you do hear one......

If you have a look at the CARP website there's some pharmacies that might be 50 for the discount. I'm joining as soon as possible. Only catch is that I need a Canadian address.

Looks interesting, thanks. They don't seem to be in NB, but I do qualify for the 55+ discounts at Lawtons.

I spent about an hour earlier today reminiscing the 90's by watching 90's music videos on youtube. That was a good decade for music.

I remember hearing this song backpacking around Thailand in 1994

Realising how old my son is this year makes me feel old!

This was the No. 1 when he was born...

Oh my. He’s the same age as me! Billie Jean was no1 the week I was born.

Edited to say.... I’m getting old. It was no1 the year I turned 16.
Senility kicking in! Now I’m feeling very old 🤣
