There was some local graffitti that said Barclays is a piggy bank

Our local graffiti said "Nicholas Parsons is the neo-opiate of the people". I expect that slogan will appear here one day, with reference to Alex Trebek.

Not an exciting story. I was picketing. The radiographers were on strike at the hospital I trained at and we were stopping non essential supplies going into the hospital.

They took our photo. I only found out when I went home and the local toff ( General and Knight of the Realm) said wasnt that you I saw on the front page of the socialist worker?

A patient, the daughter of an MP, called us Harold Wilson's henchmen. I rather liked that.

Whoa, that's obscure!

Myself, I always had a soft spot for the Dutch Spectacularists.

I think they had a point.

I just tried to find a link to the Dutch spectacularists. But they have been so well buried that google denies their existence.

These are a well known Dutch circus troope who juggle flaming Edam cheeses while using an aged Gouda round as a unicyle. The spectacle is when they try to add cubed pineapples.

No, no, no no! A perfectly serious ludicrously anarchistic group, who (quite correctly) figured out that all the mainstream stuff is a complete sham, a "Spectacle". Their response was simply to promulgate this obvious fact, not to be nasty about it at all.
