tesco food north van for those missing the uk food

Just for those missing that bit of uk/home food,
I do😀
save on foods park & tilford northvan has a new delivery of tesco products
crisps , chocolate, biscuits and squash etc etc
it maybe in other vancouver area stores as well

i had to laugh at the Tesco value curry sauce costing $3.50. That stuff isn’t even worth 50cents!

Check sell by dates, they are often close or past the date.

The Save On I went to today in Vancouver was basically out of everything Tesco related. I suppose the cost has to be higher in Canada, have to cover the cost to get it here, and the exchange rate and all that jazz. Baked beans were only 1.99 though, seemed reasonable.

Well maybe i was lucky
As all my last tesco range shopping had best before dates of late 2018 or early 2019
yes it maybe pricey compared to the tesco range prices in the UK
but compare the prices to any dedicated brit store here in the vancouver area,
about double the price for similar stuff and the same date issues for the products they stock

Everything else ive adapted to what is available here and don’t really miss chocolate, crisps.
