Tenuous Connections to Famous People

Re: Tenuous Connections to Famous People
Through work and play I've crossed paths with a small number of "famous" people (some stories I'm saving for the autobiography) and had some "moments of limelight" myself. So I've had to dig around the rusty old brain cells to find some more tenuous connections...
The woman who used to cut my hair (when I lived downtown) is Mike Smith's (Bubbles) aunt.
I've tried to chat up Violet Berlin (a couple of times).
I once spent a day working with Chas Smash.
One Christmas I spent a couple of weeks in a Caribbean resort, trying my best to ignore another guest: Teddy Sheringham.

The bloke who played Churchill in The Eagle Has Landed threw me out of a pub.
I was 16. He was the landlord.

Some of these are great.
I served a steak pie dinner to Andy Roxburgh (Scotland football manager at the time) and Malcolm Rifkind.

Re: Tenuous Connections to Famous People
My sister lived across the road from Debbie Harry (Blondie.)
My other sister dated Micky Marshall (footballer, played for West Ham I think).
My brother played snooker with Hurricane Higgins.
I used to drink in the same pub as Siouxsie (and the Banshee's), although I was underage at the time and she wasn't there.
I watched David Bowie practice whilst sitting on the hill above the bandstand at Bromley Library Gardens, though he didn't see me.
I had afternoon tea at David and Angie Bowie's house.
I served both Brian May and Freddy Mercury whilst working behind the bar in a nightclub in Bristol.
I was walking around downtown Kowloon early one morning and bumped into Phil Collins, walking round on his own.
When I was 4 my best friend was Malcolm Allison's son David.
My cousin is a reasonably well known author.
My uncle invented the mixer tap (but my grandfather forgot to get it patented).
When I was 15 I sounded like Mary Hopkins when I sang (what happened!)
I once won a dance off judged by Johnny Walker (DJ).
I got chatted up by that obnoxious creep from Follyfoot Farm.
Edit: I almost forgot.. I stood next to Bill Odie outside Raffles Hotel in Singapore

Also saw Craig Charles walking down the street in Addlestone, Surrey. My friend and I waved from my car.

Rather worryingly, I've spent the past 10 minutes frantically Googling to see if I can figure out (a) who Souvy is and why he's quoted regularly; and (b) his connection to the Royals.

I once had Paul Weller and Bruce Foxton sign the bottom of my trainers while I was wearing them.
