If you drink the bottle of red wine the night before, attempts at making beef bourguignon in the morning are severely hampered.

I'll be having shepherd's pie tonight.

HID is in Australia for work where it is 30 naffing degrees.

Tonight for my tea, I’ll be having lager.

Got a great big pot of Cock-a-Leekie soup on the go, oh boy!

Not quite the traditional recipe though, I threw in some kohlrabi which should work very well, and some chili flakes for extra warmth.

Egg and chips. Him will have egg, beans and chips but I abhor an egg and tomato based combo.

On some high holidays we crack our eggs perfectly, then intentionally break the yolks (eggs flagellati). I skipped supper, may try to drop a little weight before the serious eating season.

My stepdaughter does that - in the pan - for an egg sandwich.
My egg sandwich involves only breaking it once on the bread to spread it over more evenly.

What is it? The only egg/tomatoes combo I can take is ketchup on an omelette. Egg and tomato sandwiches is gross and the sight of runny yolk in tomato sauce is

That's the wrong way around. A small dollop of ketchup in the runny yolk is the way it should be.
Mixing it into a swirl is optional.
