Re: Taco Bell
I often see a minivan in Guelph with the plate "IZDA BY". Perhaps the owner is a customer.

I recall reading that you know you are in a working class area if there is a KFC /Taco Bell combo restaurant. I don't recall where I read it.

Re: Taco Bell
The question is does the proverbial doner (or other grease laden night food) actually do anything to prevent or reduce hangovers? We always swore that it did, with some fuzzy notion that the grease neutralises the excess alcohol ("mops it up", I believe was the technical term)...but I think read an article a while back that says that's just a big myth. Not that that matters much at 11:25 pm!

Re: Taco Bell
There is a Taco Bell here but I would not eat there.
Local favorite post here is Poutine/ slice of Pizza or a Donair. I think they call it a halifax Donair out west.
Donair is like a Donner but its beef not lamb. Typically served in a wrap with cheese, chopped tomato and donair sauce. Its like a sweet garlic sauce.
I once asked for salad, chilli sauce and garlic mayo - they looked at me like they had seen water burning
