I agree I only wanted a version of Golden Virginia that was cheaper than Drum $50,
Not to be told how the make/agree dope/weed or any other version. I only stopped smoking about 5 years ago, but it's 5 decades since I rolled my own (tabasco) smokes. I'm out of touch with pricing. |

How much Drum do you get for $50? How much does the same amount of Golden Virginia cost in the UK?

Quite an apt spelling for your neck of the woods surely Novo? For those of your neighbours still addicted to their 'tabs' anyway.

Missed this. In my current milieu it's spelled and pronounced "tabac", so yes.

I'm not sure why but thinking of Novo in France I suddenly imagined four children and a dog.

Really? I lived in France for two years. I don't recall much warmness, except in Brittany (and they are not mad keen on the French either).
I have never been so impressed, and envious, in my life. I don't care about their dress sense, but that sort of arrogance has to be an asset in life? |

Paris? Like London, Paris is unto itself. Everywhere else in France, the folk are extremely warm and polite. I've only been back since last Thursday evening and my lips are sore from kissing all the locals on the cheeks.
ETA: Do I have a vague recollection that you studied in Reims? I actually married my first husband in eglise Sainte Jeanne d’Arc in Reims... the priest thought it was very ironic!! |
