Re: Summer plans

Our holiday this year was dictated by Josh Groban announcing a US tour - so we picked a relatively close location on a vaguely suitable date and will be doing a road trip around Oregon. Can’t wait! Ooh, and without kids too.

In the midst of that there are several hundred trees that need to be pruned by hand, acres of weeds to be removed and the rodent wars continue. I suspect that by the end of the summer I shall be an expert in ways to kill a rat that don't work. Andalucia sounds lovely - enjoy!

I took three dozen dead rats to the dump on Saturday. Most of them poisoned, some blatted in traps. Touch wood that seems to be the end of the rats. I can't claim skill though, I called the same firm that dealt with the hornets and the cluster flies and let them define the multi-pronged approach.
