Such a silly question, but it's driving me nuts!

Talking this evening about those little teacake things like WHIPPET cookies that you get here, but for the life of me I can't remember what they are called at home! You know the kind of little marshmallow on a biscuit base with a shot of jam in the middle and then covered with chocolate? Its not Tunnocks, but made by Jacobs, Burtons or the like. Tesco also have their own brand. Sorry for such a frivilous question, but I have went TOTALLY blank on the name, and can't find it online ! HELP Please before divorce sets in!!

ah... no, not a wagon wheel. you were right on with the tea cake idea (have a look at burtons tea cakes) thats exactly how they look but the name i'm trying to think of is the product name. Let me clarify... you know "Jaffa Cakes"? Well Tesco have their own, but they're probably not known as Jaffa Cakes, but generically I would call anything that is like that a "Jaffa Cake" (kind of like how we call vacuum cleaners "Hoovers" even though thats the brand name) So to summarize. It IS a tea cake, but its called by another name. ( I know, I know, I just read all that, and its confusing me too!)

It might just be as simple as "Mallows" I think I'm having a senior moment, with this one! It's kind of like when you are looking for something and you have this mental image of where you saw it last and are convinced thats where it is. Then when you do find it, it's nowhere near where you had visualized it! I think the same thing is happening with this "Mallows" thing:banghead:. I IMAGINE I know it by a different name, but chances are....!
Anyways, Thanks for all you help and suggestions! IF I do find the name I imagine I know them by, I WILL post it ( just for giggles!)
