Stove/Cooker/Range Assistance

The warming drawer in my stove is jammed - what can I do to unstick it? It opens enough to get my hand in (just) and I can see that it is not any of the pans that are in it that are making it jam - HELP!

It is a Samsung FTQ3521WX. Thanks everso in advance

Shut it and just pretend that you don't have a warming drawer (involves buying new pans).
Get a daughter to stick her smaller hands in and wiggle pans about?

Pull the whole thing out away from the wall and turn it 90 degrees.

Often the warming drawer space is open at the back and you'll see what the problem is.

Didn't even think of that - knowing my luck it is a dead mouse.

Thank you!

I like your style - this is my usual when plastic pots have things in that I don't want to empty out - just bin them..oops!

Is this what passes for humour in such a desirable place as your village?

Oh we don't have time for humour here. We're too busy on the treadmills generating electricity that we wouldn't otherwise have.

I didn't even know it WAS a warming drawer till I read the manual today. Only had it a year and a half. oops. More cooking and less eating out is needed me thinks.

If you can see that nothing inside is close to the top, causing it to jam then you could always turn it on to the low setting for 10 minutes and then try to open it. Try opening it once it's warm and then switch it off and try to open it whilst the drawer is cooling.

If something is jamming at the top or you have plastic or flammable items in there then rather than heating it up, the other option is to remove the screws holding on the drawer front and see if there is something jamming it inside.
