that is scary that such an awful song can spend so long at the top of the charts. My younglings had not heard of it until my step daughter played it to them.

There are a lot of songs that are in the pop charts that annoy me. I have not listened to the charts for years because of this.
There is a particularly annoying song that my step daughter has been playing when she has been over visiting. I do not know what the song is called but main lyrics are 'tonight is going to be a good, good night' repeated over and over again.
The worst thing is when my children start singing it at random times.
