So you think you can dance Canada

Is anyone else addicted? Who do you want to win?

This programme has replaced my previous addiction to strictly come dancing.

Me too.
This is one of the best tv programmes I've seen for a long time. I can't seem to get enough of it.

I have watched the USA version for the last 3 years and was happy to see last year that they were bringing the So You Think You Can Dance competition to Canada

I did wonder if it would be as good as the USA version and I am glad to say that both Canadian seasons have been excellent and inspirational. I don't have a favourite dancer as yet.

I much prefer Cat Deeley (USA version) as presenter and would like Nigel on the Canadian judges panel too. Despite all her screeching I also enjoy Mary Murphy. The work of the choreographers just blows my mind

What a coup if we could get Paula Abdul as a judge. That'd show them in the lower 48.

Or possibly Adolf Hitler?

I'm just guessing at your tone here, Oink. Sarcasm is my default position on you, but since (as usual) I've no idea what you're on about it's tricky to respond. "Strictly come dancing" seems a rather smutty, not say risque title for a TV program. "So you think you can dance Canada", appears to betray a geographic misunderstanding of colossal proportions.

I think he's contracted to American Idol.

See now I was going along the same route thoughtwise too now not too sure.

Never watched it so cannot comment - but from a personal viewpoint I KNOW I cannot dance ;)

Now, I remember a BBC program(me) back in the '50s or'60s called "Come Dancing", my grandmother used to watch it. Silly folk in ball-gowns and evening dress. Is it like that, with a dash of S&M?

I remember something called strictly ballroom. Whether that was a phrase or a tv program I have no idea. Either way, you won't catch me watching this stuff - I find dancing is boring or gay or both.
