Snowing in UK

Looked out of the window this evening to see its snowing. I thought that the peak distrct were going to get snow but didn't expect it down here in Northants. I'm sure it will be gone again by the morning and thats probably all we will get this winter.

Who else in the UK has had snow today?

you're right!
i thought it looked a bit sleety out around 8.30 and have just looked out the window to see a very wet layer of the white stuff lying around!!

hope it doesn't dry up over night and leave any more, i think the forecast was for more rain over the next couple of days though so hopefully will be ok! :)

There was a covering of snow last night here in Sheffield about 9pm, but the rain seems to have washed it all away this morning.

I bet you any money you like that you will get more snow this winter...by the way, its 30deg Centigrade here and (strange though it may sound) I envy you.

On the way from St Catherines Church to that Golf club place on the same road. We passed several cars that had quite a bit of snow on them.
