What size metal detector do they use to locate the tracks? Or can I assume that, somewhere (the shed for the locos) there is a part of the track that wasn't under all that snow:confused:

Pictures of all that snow are just making me more and more excited about getting there!!! I'm sure i'll soon change my opinion on that once i'm there though!!!

oh it means i'm weird doesnt it! I guess it's cos we just dont get snow, it snowed in Uk a couple of months ago, and my OH (canadian) was laughing at me i was so excited!! wasnt even enough to make a snowball!!

Nah, not weird. When we first got here I used to embarrass the kids by singing "let it snow, let it snow, let it snow..." at the first snowflake. But after months of scraping slushy dirty stuff off boots it does wear a bit. Still love that first day of winter wonderland though.
