Well Gatwick Airport was closed yesterday until 8.30 am as the runway was frozen!!!

Severe weather warning at Gatwick for overnight tonight (so at least another cm due no doubt!)

Having driven around Sussex over the last couple of days, there have been a few cars in ditches or just abandoned by the side of the road! And then the annoying drivers driving at 20mph just in case!!!

And it was the wrong type of snow! Impossible to make snowmen!!!!

Here you go - one of my favourites recently:

About 5 inches in W Yorks, but that is pretty mild - traffic bad though & the ploughs / gritters took a while to call out.

Took 90 mins for a 5 mile journey - due to traffic, although the roads were a tad slippy due to slush.

We got about 4-5 inches. Very powdery though - no good for snow men:

Fabulous sledging snow and after 3 days the snow is still powdery which makes it difficult to make snowballs with.
