Small Cat-like Tracks in the Snow.....

Anyone know which creature could have made small cat like paw prints on the snow on our deck - the prints are almost identical to a cat print - but much smaller - say a third of the size.

Any ideas?

We have rabbit prints all over our yard - they look a little like cats but smaller and different pattern.

Well, we've had it mentioned now twice in the last 24 hours - I guess you guys are trying so hard to scrape the barrel for a cheap laugh, but now that you mention it again, it was 5 feet not 10, and I guess you'd have to be out of the city, office and out of your own arses to have seen it:)

No one likes my cougar kitten idea, even though it would be much cuter than the other options.

Fine.

Cos it didn't want to scare people into being

out of your own arses
which is not a nice state to be in, though it would be understandable if you saw a 10 foot tall wolf on tippy toes. Or even a cougar kitten. ;)

There are just as many 10 foot wolves in NS as there are wild cougar kittens. Maybe it was a small dinosaur?

ooh I hope so. My OH loves anything dinosaur related and it is his 40th Birthday next week - I could capture it and stick a bow on it's head.

In that case, get him to watch the Dinosaur train - you'll even get a 5 minute lowdown at the end by Dr. Scott the Paleontologist:)

In our garden we watched them trying to catch the squirrels and birds on the feeders.not seen any signs of cottoyes though so that's a bonus I suppose.
