Sukhvinder Singh Rai, 34, of Brampton, faces two counts of impaired driving related offences

Maybe he came into the country on a "skilled truck driver in damand visa" ?

That said we are driving to the US tonight, so hopefully we are passing far enough away for it not to be a complete nightmare...

Thank you for that, now I am even more excited. I am meeting people moving here from Colorado, I wouldn't be surprised if they change their minds completely. I find driving in Hamilton a challenge at the best of times.

Depends where you are crossing ? Niagara will not be advisable, Maybe Fort Erie going around Hamilton, or cross east near Kingston if going NY
