Sensational GOLD for GREAT BRITAIN

Re: Sensational GOLD for GREAT BRITAIN
How desperate is Canada when they have to take an American reject druggy and still they don't win a medal? They're going to have to revise their revision, again.

Take heart, Canada. Remember that, technically, you do actually own the podium. You'll get to keep it when all the medal-winners have gone home.

Ah. I've just made a similar comment on a similar thread. I do hope you'll accept that plagiarism isn't in question?

It was an outstanding performance. A well deserved Gold. The Americans were excellent, but the Canadians were somewhat better.
The Russians, first time I ever saw someone use what would have to be considered extra equipment to facilitate some of their moves. She was wearing a belt that he used to grip her during about 4 or 5 of their moves. While it was made to appear as part of the costume, it was only there as an assist and I would question the legality of it. In fact, watching the medal ceremony, that part of the costume was missing, proving that it was not an integrated part of the costume and, therefore, a pro or equipment. Last I knew you were not allowed to use props in figure skating and I would have supposed not extra equipment either. But it would seem that the judges and rules committee don't agree, so maybe the rule has changed. I still think it's wrong.

On another issue.....Centrifugal force is my guess....................as to why you never see a female figure skater with big boobs. The centrifugal force during those spins would probably tip them over.

I had 20 years of being married to a figure skater with small ones. So I guess it was an acquired taste. But they're all wonderful.
